Well when Alicia Keys split from long time manager Jeff Robinson she said that it was mutual and no love lost. But then there were rumors of her fiancee Swizz Beatz not liking the percentage that Jeff was taking so he told her to dump him. Necole Bitchie talked to Jeff's people to get their side of the story and this is what they had to say:
"That story is 100% false. Jeff Robinson was like a father figure to Alicia Keys. They never had a contract. It was a huge deal because Jeff lovers her like she was his own kid! This whole article reeks of damage control and its obvious. How can you rip someone off when you don't have a contract and they can walk away whenever they want?"
So first she sleeps with a married man, then gets pregnant, then announces her wedding to him, then fires her long time manager. It sounds to me like she was trying to do damage control where ever she could and since she isn't leaving her man she tried it this way. In my opinion she shouldn't mix business with pleasure again. Just because Swizz Beatz is in the same industry that doesn't mean he knows everything that is right for her career. She has had a very successful career without his advise. Why take it now and get rid of someone that was there for you when you first started. He helped her become who she is today!!!! What do you guys think?
