Michael Jordan Takes A Shot At King James

His Airness Michael Jordan recently gave his opinion on LeBron James' decision to join forces with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, and it wasn't exactly positive. In an interview after playing in a charity golf event in Nevada, Jordan questioned LeBron James' decision to join the Miami Heat after seven years in Cleveland.

"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team. But that's ... things are different. I can't say that's a bad thing. It's an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys."

Jordan won six titles with the Chicago Bulls, before moving on to play for the Wizards and work in their front office. He now is the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. His good friend and former NBA great, Charles Barkley, bashed the move earlier in the week to the Arizona Republic.

"Mike and I are in 100 percent agreement on this. If you're the two-time defending NBA MVP, you don't leave anywhere. They come to you. That's ridiculous. I like LeBron. He's a great player. But I don't think in the history of sports you can find a two-time defending MVP leaving to go play with other people."

I think it's hilarious that Jordan said he'd never have done it, but then tried to neutralize the comment by saying "I can't say it's a bad thing" while Charles made sure to let the world know that Mike agrees with him that LeBron's move was "ridiculous."

Clearly the NBA vets hold a different philosophy than BronBron and his Heatmates ... Only time will tell who is right...
