On B.o.B's "Airplanes," featuring Hayley Williams, they envision seeing shooting stars in hopes of being granted a couple of important wishes: a simpler life, no politics in music, and no emphasis on how much money they make.
Last week, B.o.B. revealed to Toby Knapp of Washington, D.C.'s Hot 99.5 FM that he and Hayley had yet to formally meet. "I always wanted to work with Hayley and by us being on the same label it made it a lot more likely to happen. And it just really manifested in that song," the Atlanta rapper said. " I still haven't met her yet. It's ironic and funny at the same time because it's one of the most popular songs and we have never met.
Williams told MTV the same in May. "We've never met in person," she said. "We've talked on Twitter, and he's really cool. We'll never meet. We're going to perform the song live via Skype," she joked.
They even taped their scenes for the music video separately due to Hayley's tour schedule with her band Paramore.
