Wesley Snipes Begins Serving Sentence

Because he failed to file his income tax returns to the IRS Wesley Snipes is now having to serve three years in prison. He showed up at the Federal Correctional Institution McKean a little bit before noon. He had been ordered to surrender before noon. He has been in prison movies "Undisputed" and "Brooklyn's Finest", but where he is going is a minimum security prison. It is nothing like the ones in his movies, it doesn't even have fences around its perimeter.

It is just sad that at age 48 he is now having to go to prison even if it is minimum security. This should be a lesson! No matter how much money you have it is still important to pay the IRS. Because they don't play!

A pregnant teacher at a Bronx High school had a miscarriage because she was trying to help stop a fight. She was trying to help. The teacher was four months pregnant and when she tried to help she got kicked in the stomach and fell to the ground. It is not known if she was intentionally kicked or not.

She lost her child because she was trying to help other children that were acting stupid by fighting. It is never good when a life is lost. This child's life was taken for no reason. Could that be considered murder? What do you think?

"Digital Death" Fundraiser Not Doing So Good

Celebrities came together for National Aids Day and decided to kill their social media for a good cause. They would no longer be on twitter or facebook until $1,000,000 is raised for the "Keep A Child Alive" charity. Some of the celebrities involved are Ryan Seacrest, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian and others. This is a wonderful idea and that did do it for a great cause, but the problem is that is not going very well. Since they shut down on Wednesday they have only raised $180,950. This is a great amount but they still need $800,000 in order to be able to come back online.

I think that the problem with this is that they don't give the fans a whole lot of options to donate. The minimum donation is $10. I know that there are so many people that would love to donate but sometimes people don't always have $10 to donate. They should be given the option of what they want to donate and I am pretty sure that more people would donate. Maybe this one wasn't thought all the way through.

Well he did it when people think that he couldn't. LeBron James came to Cleveland and dealt with all the booing and jeers of the Cavalier fans. He came in and did what he does! He had 38 points, eight rebounds and five assists. He was booed but in the end he did what he is known for and yes the people of Cleveland are upset but I don't think anybody is more upset than the Cav's owner Dan Gilbert.

Eminem Helps Urban Music Own the 2011 Grammys

Yesterday the 2011 Grammy Nominees were announced. With much thanks to Eminem and his "Recovery" cd, urban music is nominated in almost every category.

Eminem topped the nominations with 10; Bruno Mars had seven; and Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and Lady Antebellum had six. Jeff Beck, B.O.B., and John Legend received five each. Drake, Cee Lo Green, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and The Roots each earned four nominations.

The Grammys will be aired Sunday, February 13, 2011.

Of course we all have taxes and we have to pay them, we don't have a choice! Sometimes people think otherwise and don't pay. That can come back and really bite you in the end. What doesn't make sense to me is how celebrities make so much money for what they do but still cant pay the IRS. Just because you make a lot of money doesn't mean that you get a pass when it comes to the IRS. They don't care who you are! Take a look at Wesley Snipes he is now having to spend time in prison due to tax evasion. It is sad, but at the same time he made the money so just pay what you owe.

On December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks became the first lady of the Civil Rights Movement, with one single act of 'defiance' that would launch the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

Many people grew up believing that Parks didn't want to give up her seat just because she was so tired from work. In her autobiography titled "My Story", she knew what her decision would mean.

"People always say that I didn't give up my seat because I was tired, but that isn't true. I was not tired physically, or no more tired than I usually was at the end of a working day. I was not old, although some people have an image of me being old then. I was forty-two. No, the only tired I was, was of giving in."

The Kardashian sisters opened a new venture with a prepaid debit card on Nov. 10. They were so excited about this and everything was all good until there was backlash due to the extremely outrageous fees that are included with this card. They want out now that it is coming back on them.

Just to buy the card and use it costs $59.95 for six months and $99.95 for 12 months. That does not include any money on the card. The person buying it must add money onto it. After those six or 12 months are up, it costs $ 7.95 a month to keep using the card. Users have to pay $1.50 to withdrawal from an ATM, and $1 to check their balance. Talking to a customer representative on the phone costs $1.50 for each call and to cancel the card it costs $6.

The Dream Team Is Not So Happy!!

Ok well apparently "The Dream Team" is frustrated with their coach Erik Spoelstra. So nothing is wrong with the players it is all on the coach and they are concerned if he is even fit to coach the team. They feel that he is not letting them be themselves and they are questioning his defensive strategies.

It has been shown that LeBron does not respect the coach at all! In the third quarter of their game Nov. 27 against Dallas he bumped Spoelstra during a timeout. The coach down-played the incident and said that he didn't notice the bump until he was told about it. If you have seen the video of this you can tell that he noticed it but he is not trying to put LeBron out there like that. He is being diplomatic. I understand the players being upset with a 9-8 overall but that doesn't mean that it is all on the coach. There are athletes on the court playing ball that should take some responsibility for what they are doing.

Maybe they just don't work as well together as they thought they would. Remember this dream team is not Paul Pierce, Ray Allen or Kevin Garnet so unfortunately you may not have the same kind of record!

Would You Pay $3000 For Alcohol?

Apparently there are people that will spend that amount of money for 1 bottle of alcohol. Which of course that sounds ridiculous that anybody would charge that. I would expect for that amount of money that it would be a gorgeous bottle that of course you want to keep forever since that kind of money was spent. Looking at this bottle it doesn't make me want to spend a penny on it. I know the price is high just because of the name.

Ok so it looks like The New England Patriots traded Randy Moss to The Minnesota Vikings. I don't understand why they traded him and broke up the team between him and Tom Brady. They were a great team! Did anybody see Randy's one handed catch this season? He is a great player so why trade him. I don't think that was a very smart move. What do you guys think?

Lawyer Agrees With Dwyane Wade

All the antics that Siohvaughn Wade did during divorce proceedings are starting to catch up with her. Taking a cue from Dwyane's custody petition, the lawyer appointed to represent the two junior Wade's is asking that Siohvaughn's mental state be evaluated.

According to TMZ reports:

Dwyane Wade's ex-wife needs a checkup from the neck up ... according to the attorney appointed to look out for the former couple's kids during their ongoing child custody trial.

According to new documents filed in Chicago - and obtained by TMZ - the attorney, Lester L. Barclay claims, "There is a question of mental condition and violent tendencies" of Siohvaughn Wade.

In the filing, Barclay claims Siohvaughn's own testimony has revealed a history of extreme violence - and he believes she has "homicidal" and "suicidal" tendencies.

Bottom line ... Barclay is asking the court to force Siohvaughn to undergo a psychiatric evaluation with a court-approved psychiatrist - and he wants their two kids to stay with Dwyane while the trial continues.

That is very sad!

Mario Attacked His Own Mother

R&B singer Mario's mother called the police after he attacked her inside the apartment that they share for the second time this week.

From The Baltimore Sun:

At 12:53am, an officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Fells St for a call for a "mental case breaking up property" inside an apartment. Officers met Shanita Hardaway in the front lobby - she was crying and appeared very upset, officers wrote. She said Mario was "throwing and damaging property" in the apartment they share, and had pushed her using his hands and forearms, causing minor pain. When police went up to the apartment, they found a damaged china cabinet and the floor littered with broken glass. A mirror was broken, and there was a large hole in a closet door.

She said it was the second such time he had put his hands on her in recent days - on Sept. 27, she said, they got into an argument in which he pushed her "eight feet into a living room wall, where Ms. Hardaway hit her head on the wall," police wrote in charging documents.

"When this officer asked the victim if she fears for her life in reference to her son's actions, the victim replied 'yes,'" the officer wrote.

No word on what sparked either incident.
